Reconstructed street system of Aelium Cetium and locations of finds to date, superimposed over the land registry plan of St. Pölten. The mediaeval city walls reveal that both settlements had approximately the same area, only in the east the terraced edge towards the Traisen constituted the boundary of the settlement in the 13^th c.
