Phase 3 of the cult site at Elst-Westeraam: the orientation of the wooden building has changed again. The posts at the back of the building might be remains of an open-air shrine. The entire thing was surrounded by a palisade which was however almost entirely dug up in phase 4. 1: foundation ditch of small wooden building; 2-3 ditches. c. AD 70.
